Liv Rundgren Tyler (born Liv Rundgren 1 July 1977) is an American actress as well as a producer, singer, and former model. At the age of 14 she began her modeling career. She later decided to focus on acting and made her film debut in Silent Fall (1994); she went on to achieve critical recognition with starring roles in Heavy and Empire Records (both 1995) in addition to That Thing You Do! and Stealing Beauty (both 1996). She then appeared in movies such as Inventing the Abbotts (1997), Armageddon (1998), Cookie's Fortune and Onegin (both 1999), Dr. T & the Women (2000), and One Night at McCool's (2001). After playing Arwen Undomiel, Tyler appeared in films such as The Abbotts: Inventing the Abbotts (1997) as well as Armageddon (1998) and Onegin and Cookie's Fortune (both 1999) and The Dr. T and the Women (2000), Super (2010), Space Station 76 (2014). Wildling (2018). She also starred in The Leftovers, a supernatural drama series on HBO, and Gunpowder which is a BBC drama series about violent period films. In 2018, she was a part of the ITV/Hulu series Harlots. In 2019, she starred in the Fox procedural drama 9-1-1: Lone Star.
