Joseph Fidler Walsh, born on the 20th of November, 1947 is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He has been a part of three rock groups that have enjoyed success in the last five years including The James Gang, the James Gang and Eagles. He was also a part of the New Zealand group Herbs. He was also part of Herbs from New Zealand in the 90s. He was ranked as No. 54 on the list of Rolling Stone in 2011. The magazine ranked Walsh as the number. 54 on their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists" in 2011. Roger Abramson was a concert manager and producer who signed the James Gang to an agreement for management with BPI in Cleveland. The band was formed by Barnstorm in 1972 along with Joe Vitale (a college friend from Ohio) and Kenny Passarelli (a bassist from Colorado) which was the place which was the state to which Walsh was a resident after having left Ohio. The group released three albums over three years, and was together, however Walsh's solo projects were advertised. The 1974 Barnstorm album So What had significant contributions from several Eagles members, who had recently hired Walsh's producer Bill Szymczyk.
