Eva Green

 Eva Gaelle Green (French: [eva ga.el gRen], Swedish: ['e:va'gre:n]; born 6 July 1980) is a French model and actress. Marlene Jobert was her mother. She started her career in the theater, and later made her film debut in Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers (2003). International recognition was awarded for her role as Sibylla Queen of Jerusalem in Ridley Scott’s historical epic Kingdom of Heaven (2006). In the next year, she portrayed Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006) in which she was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award.Green has since been in a variety of independent films which include Cracks (2009), Womb (2010) and Perfect Sense (2011). In 2014, she played Artemisia in the 300 sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Ava Lord in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Green's work with Tim Burton are also well-known. She played Angelique Bouchard, Miss Alma Peregrine, as well as Colette Marsant in the fantasy movie Dumbo (2019). Green has been nominated for the Cesar Award as Best Actress for her role in Morgan Pendragon, an astronaut mother in Proxima (2019). Also, she starred in Penny Dreadful, a Showtime horror drama series. Her performance won the attention of critics and a nomination at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in Television Series Drama.
