Johnson wrestled with WWF/E for eight years prior to embarking on an acting career. His films have grossed over $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion across the globe, which makes Johnson one of the world's highest-grossing and most highly-paid actorsPrior to his emergence as a top-grossing actress in the late 2010s, Johnson was an athlete. Johnson was an outstanding athlete in Freedom High School, Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley. He was also a standout on the school’s football and wrestling teams. This college is famous for its ability to produce Olympic as well as professional athletes. His high school football coach was instrumental in motivating him to make positive changes in his life. He had previously been involved in fights, and other minor crime in high school as a teenager. His athletic abilities at Freedom High School led him to be ranked as one of the top 10 defensive tackle high-school prospects in the nation which attracted the attention of many NCAA Division I colleges and football teams.
