The Batman (film)

 The Batman is an American superhero film that was made available in 2022. It is inspired by Batman and Batman from DC Comics. The film is a reboot of Batman's film franchise , and was made by DC Films, 6th & Idaho and Dylan Clark Productions. Matt Reeves directed the film and wrote the screenplay with Matt Reeves. The film features Robert Pattinson playing Bruce Wayneas Batman alongside Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano. Batman is a vigilante who has been fighting crime for the past two years in Gotham City and is shown investigating corruption and tracking down the Riddler, (Dano) who is a target for Gotham's most powerful. Affleck was commissioned to write, direct and produce The Batman. However, Affleck was hesitant and decided to quit the project. Reeves took over and changed the plot to eliminate DCEU connections. Reeves was looking to explore Batman's side of detective more than the earlier films. He was inspired by films made by Alfred Hitchcock, The New Hollywood period and comics such as Year One (1987), The Long Halloween (96-97) and Ego (2000). Pattinson was cast as the first actor in May of 2019. The casting process will begin in the latter part of 2019. Filming started in the United Kingdom on January 2020. But, filming was stopped in March due to the
