 Christians (/'krIstS@nChristians (/'krIstS@n/, -ti@(/, (listen)) are those who adhere to Christianity which is an monotheistic Abrahamic religion that is founded on the life of Jesus Christ and his the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians are a part of the Koine Greek title Christos, which is a translation of the Biblical Hebrew word mashiach ("maSHiyHa"), is the source of the terms Christ as well as Christian. The word is frequently used in the form of "messiah" in English. While there various different interpretations of Christianity that can be conflicting with each other, they everyone agrees on the singular significance of Jesus. The word Christian refers to everything that is connected to Christianity as well as Christian churches. The word "Christian" doesn't carry the significance of "of Christ" or "related or connected to Christ".
